Everyday, I'm thankful for.........................

As I am winding down my day with my speech kiddos, I am reminded of how very thankful I am for the wonderful life God has allowed me the permission to have.  I am so blessed to have a job where I see the most amazing children who are so full of promise and hope, each and everyday.  And even though some of their lives at home are a far cry from being "happy", they come to school each day with a smile on their face and love in their hearts.  God has given me the opportunity to be a part of their lives and to be able to guide them in the area they are stuggling with.  Yes, I help them with articulation, language, semantics and pragmatics, but I also listen to things they say and try to hold the tears in until I get home.  Their innocence is a wonder to me, and being able to do what I do AND get paid for it is a blessing and a gift I NEVER forget to be thankful for.
